Why I Blog about Africa – one more time

I blog about Africa because I was raised by one of her tribes. And because here things that are ragged are patched and cherished. Because sub Saharan thunderstorms are so deafening you have to believe in heaven. And mostly I blog about Africa because I want you to come, and fall in love. – Kari

Okeee so Kari tagged me -  let me write some more about it though not easy to write after reading Kari’s post …. so few words saying so much …. and I agree about thunder storms :)

Africa is limitless source of magic – I know this because I started my discoveries when I was about 18 and I still feel today that I haven’t even started.

Sipho “Hotsticks” MabuseI find magic not so much in the things one sees – the shockingly beautiful photos one sees in a travel brochure – though there is breathtaking scenery here in South Africa or Tunis ( I spent one year there) …. – I am sure you agree – there is a big difference in looking at photos or standing right there with my feet in the ocean playing my violin for the waves – or walking into Kippies jazz club just past the “director of pizza” who was selling delicious pizzas right outside the club – only to be welcomed by Sipho “Hotsticks” and his big smile.

One gets completely addicted – just try – you will see …. in the meantime I keep blogging some more :)
