This is the first post of many posts on music from India which I started to explore again.
I used to listen to Classical Indian music back in Budapest almost every week while I was a student at university with the help of the Calcutta trio and those club evenings have taught me a lot about music, about teaching and learning and about India – a magical country with amazing traditions.
As an introduction – here is a video of two legends – Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Alla Rakha.
